The Yellow Chair Salon is an intimate, virtual program designed to foster artistic breakthroughs and support sustained growth in studio practice. Across regular bi-weekly sessions, artists work in small cohorts, presenting works in progress, engaging in rigorous critiques, and exploring both the conceptual and professional dimensions of their practice.
Led by distinguished artists, curators, and art-world practitioners, the Salon emphasizes curiosity, experimentation, and accountability, offering participants both critical feedback and a collaborative, supportive environment. The program is designed to challenge artists to push the edges of their work while cultivating the habits and frameworks that sustain a long-term practice.
Through its emphasis on dialogue, mentorship, and shared inquiry, the Salon creates a space where artists can test ideas, refine strategies, and expand their artistic language in real time. While virtual, the program fosters deep connections between peers and mentors, encouraging sustained engagement, reflection, and growth.
